This 30-minute documentary tells the fascinating story of Ann Chernow, an 87-year-old artist living in Westport, Connecticut, who has been creating prints, oil paintings, drawings and more since the 1970s. Her art takes inspiration from film noir – the black and white films of the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s, often transposing the figure of the femme fatale into a relatable and recognizable reflection. The film features interviews with husband and wife actors Mia Dillon and Keir Dullea (who was in Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece, 2001: A Space Odyssey), and award winning author Ron Chernow (Alexander Hamilton, The House of Morgan, Titan). The filmmaker, Bernard Langs, lived in New Providence for over 20 years and will take questions from the audience after the screening. Email
