AfterWords Bookstore Art 002

Check out the AfterWords Bookstore's wonderful collection of gently used books of all kinds - children's, teen and adult fiction, nonfiction, plus audiobooks on CD, DVD movies, music CDs, and Great Courses. Books make great gifts!

AfterWords is located in the basement of the library, through the gray door in the Children's Room and down the stairs.

Prices range from $0.50 to $5.00. Kindly pay for your books upstairs at the Circulation Desk. Funds raised by the bookstore provide additional support for library services and programs.

  • Hardcovers                $2.00
  • Paperbacks                $1.00
  • Children's Books         $0.50
  • DVDs                        $1.00
  • Music CDs                 $0.50 each or 5/$1.00

AfterWords accepts donations in excellent condition: recent fiction/nonfiction, children’s books, like-new paperbacks, and audiobooks. Please leave donations in the bins located at the bottom of the basement stairs, through the gray door in the Children's Room. Please do not leave donations outside in the elements.

AfterWords DOES NOT accept: DVDs, CDs, magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, test prep books, computer books, books printed before 2004, paperbacks with creased spines, books with yellowed pages, books with spots along the paper edges, books that have torn pages or pages with stains, books that smell musty, books that have been written in or highlighted, discarded library books. Unfortunately, these books do not sell well and space in the bookstore is limited.

AfterWords Bookstore Hours:

  • Wed/Fri/Sat          10am - 4pm
  • Sun                       1pm - 4pm
