Look up your favorite books or authors, and scroll down to Read-alikes to find other books that you may enjoy. You may also browse their suggested books by setting, theme, time period, and genre.

Book group looking for books to discuss? Check out BookBrowse's Book Club Central. The Top 10 feature displays titles popular with book groups this week. You'll find also find discussion questions in the Reader's Guide, plus reviews, summaries, author interviews, and author biographies.

BookPage

BookPage is a monthly recommendation guide for readers, highlighting the best new books across all genres. On its mission to connect every reader to a book they will love, BookPage highlights intriguing new voices as well as bestsellers, pointing readers to the best new releases across all genres. Print copies are available to pick up near the library's entrance.

LibraryReads

LibraryReads is a list of 10 books every month that library staff across the country loved reading and cannot wait to share. LibraryReads represents a broad range of reading tastes and showcasing a variety of new titles, including buzzed-about debuts, genre favorites, bestselling authors, and lesser-known midlist titles that public library staff are raving about. Check out the Archives page to see previous winners.

Literary Reference Source

Literary Reference Source contains literary journal articles, reference books and other publications.  You'll find literary criticism, plot summaries, author biographies and interviews, and the full text of selected poems, short stories and classic texts.  It's helpful for students writing papers, and book groups who discuss classic authors in depth.

NoveList

NoveList provides fiction recommendations for adults and high school students.  Look up a favorite novel or author, then click "read-alikes" to find other books that you may also enjoy.

Browse fiction by genre, such as mystery or science fiction, or try out the Appeal Mixer to browse books based on the pace, characters, and writing style you enjoy.

Book groups will want to take a look at NoveList's reading guides.  Their discussion questions for selected titles are exclusive to NoveList, and answers are provided.
