Rosetta Stone provides language learning programs in 30 languages from Arabic to Vietnamese. Speech-recognition technology gives you immediate feedback on your pronunciation. Rosetta Stone is available through a web browser (the easiest option) or the Rosetta Stone mobile app.
Rosetta Stone browser instructions
-Click on the Rosetta Stone link.
-Enter your library card barcode number when prompted.
-Click "Rosetta Stone Library Solution".
-The first time, you will need to create a login. Choose your username and password, and a language.
-You must choose a language every time you log in.
Rosetta Stone app instructions
You cannot simply download the Rosetta Stone app and log in to it directly. Instead, follow these instructions each time you want to use Rosetta Stone on your device. The app will only need to be downloaded once, however.
-Download the Rosetta Stone app onto your phone or tablet. Do not create a log in using the app.
-If you are not already reading this page on your device's browser, go to https://www.newprovidencelibrary.org/research/online-courses/rosetta-stone in your device's web browser.
-Tap any link to Rosetta Stone.
-Type in your library card barcode number.
-Click on and tap on "Rosetta Stone Language Lessons"
-Tap "Rosetta Stone Library Solution"
-Login, or create a login if you don't have one yet. Enter your email and type in your password (at least 6 letters plus a number), and select a language.
-Tap Sign In.
-Tap Launch Rosetta Stone Foundations.
-A pop up window will ask "Open this page in Rosetta Stone"? Tap Open.
-Repeat these steps each time you wish to use the app.
