Concerts
The Chinese American Music Ensemble will sing traditional songs of celebration for Lunar New Year, as well as pop songs in Chinese in this free concert in the Conti Room. The guiding principle of this group of more than a dozen singers is to bring joy to the public through music.
Shuang Guo has conducted the CAME since 2002. She was trained in China and received her PhD from the University of Missouri, and has performed with numerous orchestras as a conductor and as a pianist. Shuang is also the conductor of Haiyun Chorus in NY, and Huaxia Chinese Chorus in NJ.
