Current Art Displays at NPML
In the Gallery:
July 2 - August 27: Photography by Nancy J. Ori and artworks by Jane Thompson George. Nancy has been respected for over three decades as a corporate photographer, video producer and teacher. She was affiliated for many years with the Ansel Adams workshop in California and is presently on the faculty and a regular lecturer at numerous art centers and museums in New Jersey. Nancy's work has been widely published and exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the United States and Europe. Jane is an accomplished painter and a painting instructor at Kean University. She recently completed a beginning digital photography workshop taught by Nancy. She will be exhibiting a series of prints, drawings and paintings depicting the beauty of the Great swamp National Wildlife Refuge.
There will be no reception for this show.
In the Glass Display Case:
August 1 - August 31; "The Dog Days of Summer": Eleventh Hour Rescue rescues animals from shelters who are scheduled to be put down, placing them in foster homes or adoption situations. This display is aimed to promote pet adoptions for animals in great need of loving homes.

On the Walls:
August 28 - October 14: Watercolors by Neela Pushparaj. Neela is a retired pathologist who has been painting in water-colors for over 14 years. What began as a way to relax after work grew into a passion. She has exhibited her work in many galleries and juried shows - her work has been exhibited in the past as part of the annual Woman Art exhibits at the library.
