Summer Reading 2019  June 19 - July 31 Adult Slogan

The New Providence Memorial Library is proud to present our 2019 Summer Reading Program, "A Universe of Stories!"

Book genres are as diverse as the galaxies. Our library has books for every age, every interest, and every reader. We have wonderful incentives to keep all ages reading this summer. Each reading log below will help patrons of all ages track their reading or literacy activities in order to earn prizes or raffle tickets. Our Summer Reading Registration table will be set up in the Children's Room from June 19-July 31. All students must complete a registration form so we can contact any potential winners. Adults will give their contact information at the Reference Desk.

Each age group will receive a paper copy of their reading log at registration. Try not to lose it so you get credit for everything you've read throughout the six weeks. If you do misplace it, feel free to print it from here. Bring your reading log in to the volunteers at the Summer Reading desk in the Children's Room throughout the six week program to earn stamps, prizes or raffle tickets to place in our prize baskets. Teen Volunteers: Sign up to work the Summer Reading desk here!

*Please note: Only one winner per family in order to spread the Summer Reading joy.

We'd like to thank all of our local sponsors for donating the gift cards that make up our prize baskets. These businesses support literacy and our library through these donations. Thank you!

Welcome to Summer!

Believe it or not, we are approaching our 100th anniversary in 2021.  Perhaps that's made us look a  bit down the road at what's ahead and where we should be heading.  Please help us to be the best community library we can be.  We are asking you to take short survey and tell us what you think.  We'll share the results and use them in our planning efforts.
