February Tuesday Movies @ 2

February has rolled around again and thoughts turn to the “L” word.  Our movie theme this month reflects that with 4 flicks that range from comedy to drama and time travel to Scotland.  Here’s the list.

Things get exciting when a librarian with a rare genetic disorder comes into the mix in The Time Traveler’s Wife on February 9.  The illness sends him hurtling through time whenever he is under stress.  Despite this, he tries to build a stable future with a particular woman in this romantic comedy, showing that love knows no boundaries.

Next up on February 16, a combination of time travel action and love story.  Adventurer and mathmetician finds a portal in time and transports himself back to 1880.  When he is discovered and chased by a Duke, they are both transported back to present-day New York.  This leads to a woman meeting the Duke and, eventually, falling for him in a true fish-out-of-water love story.

And stay tuned for more good stuff in February.  Our theme ends with a laugh

on February 23, Made of Honor
